G.210
Geneva 210
'Ottawa 3' and 'Robusta 5'
Cornell University / USDA-ARS, USA, 2010
Bred by Cornell University and the USDA-ARS in 1975 from a cross between 'Ottawa 3' and 'Robusta 5', Geneva® 210 (G.210) is a semi-dwarfing apple rootstock producing trees roughly 50–60% the size of a standard seedling (similar to M.7 or M.26). Known for its high precocity and yield efficiency, G.210 exhibits strong tolerance to apple replant disease. It provides high resistance to fire blight, crown/collar rot (Phytophthora), and woolly apple aphid. The rootstock develops a sturdy root system that offers excellent anchorage and cold hardiness, with low root suckering and minimal burr knot formation.
